Taylor Swift’s best pal Selena Gomez reacts to her cameo in ‘Only Murders in the Building’

Selena Gomez is setting the record straight on rumours of Taylor Swift’s cameo in her latest series, Only Murders in the Building.
During an exclusive interview with E! News, the Love On hitmaker referenced her best friend’s iconic Eras Tour as she laughingly added, “You’re hilarious. She’s a little busy, you guys.”
However, Gomez didn’t deny that the Anti-hero hitmaker could make an appearance in the fourth season of the Disney+ show.
Her co-stars expressed excitement over the idea. “Listen, she calls us every day,” Steve joked.
In response to his claim, Martin chimed in, “No, I was talking to Taylor around 3:00 a.m.”
Despite the 34-year-old’s busy schedule, Swift might consider this an opportunity to relive her small screen experience after appearing in shows like CSI and New Girl.
On top of everything, the Emmy-nominated star could really use her bestie’s cameo in the show to make fans’ Wildest Dreams come true.
Fans are creating theories on Reddit regarding the songstress’ supposed cameo in the show.
One fan commented, “They could use no body, no crime in the show. Please let this happen.”
Another gushed, “Taylor would be a fun addition!”
The Only Murders in the Building first premiered on Tuesday, August 27.

Selena Gomez has recently opened up about singing in her new movie, Emilia Perez.
Speaking at a Q&A at the Telluride Film Festival on September 1, the actress and singer said, “It was actually a totally different song.”
Reflecting on her musical role, the Only Murders in the Building actress stated, “It had a bit more of a rough sound to it and over the course of, you know, working with [singer-songwriter] Camille on the song intimately, it became almost like a ballad.”
“It was more of a story about a woman and phases of life that she goes through and it just was beautiful,” remarked the 32-year-old.
Selena mentioned, “I was in the studio for hours and hours and it was just so much fun, but also not trying to sing the way that I would normally sing.”
“I had to try and, you know, in my mind to think, ‘Okay, this is what were the limits I could reach within my character,” she continued.
Selena added, “And it was really therapeutic and I thought it was so beautifully done.”
“I thought it was very important to show her and her true form, you know, just wanting to be who she is,” concluded the actress and singer.
Meanwhile, Emilia Pérez will release in limited theatres on November 1, and later stream on Netflix on November 13.
